Thank you all for your support. Im glad to see that everyone is happy with their motors and topends. We are very fortunate to have such a following of customers and friends. 5 seasons on ISOLDOUT's motor is very impressive. That says allot for a dependable performance 2 stroke motor. Thanks...
Shims are not need with pro x pistons. And when the bore is too tight they typically seize on the 4 corners front and rear of the wrist pin.

Ok that sounds good. But .0035 is to tight and will usually sieze. If it was that tight after the first piston failure that means it was even tighter when it was new. Hone it out to .0045 and try again.

If im reading this correctly you said it has 15 minutes on it with no WOT over 5 seconds? If its that new you shouldnt be WOT until at least the second 5 gallon tank. And 40.1 is not enough oil for breakin. And pro x pistons need to be closer to the .0045 at assembly. Check your squish too that...
My trigger sweeps at an angle instead of a straight pull so it seems to help and my hands are bigger so the larger odi grips are easier to hold on to.

I used to have the same problem now i use the larger diameter odi rogue grips and a Umi throttle lever and no more cramps.

Head could be warped letting a little water leak by. Best to surface the head a few thousands and replace the gasket and torque it properly.

The 10/16 is a little big but u may be ok with the 10/16 hooker and a stubby pump cone with ur 85mm nozzle.

Sounds like u have an exhaust leak. Put it on the hose and crank it without the hood to find the leak. An engine cannot run on the air and smoke inside the hull thats why it was bogging.

I have suffered from the same problem for years. One day i realized after riding at the beach versus the lake i dont seem to be as bad after riding in salt water. The best solution i have found is use a netty pot as soon as you possibly can and flush ur sinuses with the salt packets. It clears...
You should probably slide the motor forward and spin the drive line coupler by hand this way you can isolate the problem to either engine or driveline. If its pump bearings it will eventually destroy ur prop and wearing by allowing them to make contact. If its in the motor ur running the risk of...
