Its frustrating for sure. Weve all been there. Did the motor ever run correctly? Or is it new and if it is Did you assemble it or a builder? Reason i ask is i have seen people install the pistons backward. It will make compression but be difficult to start since it looses crank case vacuum when...
Are u sure there cracks? Are you getting water in cyl? I can see them in the picture but cant tell if there cracks or machining marks from truing the top of the cylinder.
They ask how much and i tell them i have $20,000 in it. Their lost for words is Priceless, Especially when i tell them i only paid $14,000 for the Ford F250 SD 4x4 Diesel thats hauling it.
Your low screw should be about 1 turn. High speed screw is usually around 1.5 turns out. If ur at 2 turn on low screw i bet it doesnt want to idle. Lol try 1 turn on low u can even go 3/4 turn but if it bogs when u hit the throttle go back to 1 turn.
After an accidenttal fill up on a kawasaki XI with about 7 to 8 gallons of straight gas added to 1 to 2 gallons of 40.1 mix and ran it all day by kids so you know it was WOT and its been 2 years ago and still runs awesome today. Thats good oil. Not to mention every time i tear down mine or the...
I think dual 1/2 inch is plenty. If u were racing WOT all time maybe but for freestyle stand up probably not necessary unless you have a 1000 or 1200 with crazy high compression. I know my ski with dual 1/2 with all fittings drilled thru to optimize the flow have huge amounts of water pissing...
Im complaining that i dont really have anything to complain about. Wait thats a good thing.
Dang it... ok i got one. You guys need to buy more Motors.... lol
Its normal for one pisser to have more pressure than the other due to some water going thru the flow control valve and not straight out the pisser.
Did u do dual cooling from the pump with 2 fittings on the exhaust manifold?
Once the motors broke in you can try reducing the water in the head...
Any experienced machinist should of known to chamfer the ports before giving it back to you. You can do it yourself or take it back and request they do the chamfering. They should of anyway.
