Checking NOAA for signs of surf coming to texas and so far the biggest is this bouy west of central florida. 0 mph wind speed 6.6 feet with 8 sec period.

Rashguard works well under the "John" type wetsuit. I keep looking for the equivalent of a rashguard for the bottom half of me (for under board shorts), but don't feel like paying the premium prices for the stuff I'm seeing.

ask for a "dive skin" or lycra suit. Used to run about $90 for a full suit

7/23/08 Surf today is victory at sea huge and choppy. The buoys are 21 ft at 10sec surf should improve after storm moves more inland for the next few days. Water temp is 85 and the tides are Low 12:05am 0.28ft High 7:13am 1.13ft Low 1:45pm 0.46ft High 7:45pm 0.93ft


I hope my prop is here by Friday, ITS ON LIKE DONKEY KONG! anyone else want to go?

Like I said, not liking the prices I'm seeing. Especially when I've got plenty of rashguards, just need a bottom half. That's harder to find and still pricey. Not to mention that divers seem to like to wear black and I don't really since it gets hotter on shore.
