aftermarket square hood interest

Ok maybe my case is an exception. I have an xmetal pole on mine and I need to put about 6 inches of padding on the hood to make the pole sit flush with the top of the hood, hence the reason of me wanting a lowered hood. Whatever......

I'll just make my own lol. But it would be awesome for it to be light and strong.

But my main questions is this...

If I lowered my stock square hood, would there be enough room for airflow and engine clearance

if you dont have a huge-ass drypipe and you can make a low liner for it, you should be okay. i just took some pics of the one im modding.... maybe ill just make another SN hood mod thread and post 'em up. you get a pretty good idea of the airspace in the liner and hood from them.

There are lots of bathtub factorys in the USA. I did warranty work for Lasco bathware for 8 years in the past and they have 8 factories in the USA. I've toured the one in Moapa, NV( about 50 northeast of Las Vegas) and its all Mexicans that cant speak any english.

I do know my bathtub factories! lol

lowered would be nice. however, if its lowered, a stock or a/c square pole will make the ski look like a 550 or fx1.

just do the conversion to the roundnose pole like pete did, and lower it.

if someone decides to make the kit with the hood, I'll buy it and throw an X-metal pole on it.

Chick, that is a question that a specialist would have to answer. Please PM WaTeRhAwk.

lol

actually, you need to PM mudphish, and/or jeff curry, they're the ones that are aquainted with the actual company in Oregon that does that type of stuff on the side.
