Didnt know it was made by SBT until googling the serial number on it . Bought it from a forum vendor . Now have CF housing and a just ordered a CF shaft an hour ago .
Why are you paying 100 bucks for your bearings; are you using something special?
I was informed not to use those ceramic bearings because they won't endure the extreme pump vibrations and don't have the same rpm rating as the regular bearings. Also they're $200+ a per bearing.Next time I rebuild my mag, I'm gonna find ceramic bearings an be done with it. Little pricey but barely any resistance or drag.
about $2200
You must be using Hybrid bearings with ceramic balls and steel cages because the full ceramic bearings are way more expensive.Ive been using them for years in pumps , bearing housings , and motorcycle wheels and have never had one go bad . Also they are not $200 each at world wide bearings .
Max pump comes with cone . I have a 144 on the way . Will put Hybrid ceramic bearings in it anyway so bearings dont matter . Got lots of props already . Ordered this one without driveshaft .
Still needs a special driveshaft for the setback mag pumps and they require a wider double row front bearing due to the shorter vane section.
I would image the shipping cost from Asia is quite expensive too.
Why are you running an SBT component on a DASA/mag driveline?
If it's a setback pump, you'll have issues with the shaft length with OEM bearings. One of them needs to be wider than OEM
