ive dealt with jeff a couple times and had different experiences, on some occassions prompt responses and other times quite a delay.

when i was looking to buy a hull off him he was prompt, since i bought a used hull, i was open and told him that, i havent had replies to any questions, but i give the benefit of the doubt and put it down to being busy.

im sure you will get your parts and im also sure you will be very happy with them.

I called, and got an immediate answer.

He has one RAZR hood in stock, but with a single hand hold. i asked for another to be cut out, and was told not a problem, give him one day and it will be shipped the day after.

I was told on the phone, expect to recieve it by the 11th september.

Its now the 14th, but i cant get a response, so im wondering if the hood was sent when i was led to believe it would be?

one issue you may also have to think about is shipping over to the uk... things can get held up at customs, even shipping to canada from the us we have custom hold ups to deal with.

i guess if you could at least know if it shipped and get a tracking number your part way there

I understand where your coming from Steve, but when i buy from blowsion, if they tell me its going to be 2/4 days. it is 2/4 days. i havent got to worry. and if i want to call, i know there at the other end of the phone.

WDK on the other hand, now i cant get hold of! so im unsure whether its been sent or not.

I notice on their site they have an order status but ive never recieved an email with reciept details etc. although the money from my account went just after i got off the phone!

Took 3 weeks to get my wdk blk hood for a dry pipe...He told me 7 to 10 days...if i had it to do over i would order from him again,very happy with my hood,well worth the money!!!!! just keep calling and leaving messages and you will get your hood.....

ive orderded from jeff and had no problems, chatted with him for some time on the phone, very knowledgeable guy, i think for the price he charges for his parts you cant knock them... obvioulsy once you get them..

Madmats parts are beautiful (hull, hood, handlepole, hood latch, steering) and another friend got a Razr hood (late) but it is a damn good hood, especially for the price.

...however, I don't know anybody that has gotten parts when they were supposed to come...I think I have figured out the equation for it.

Guys, I don't think you should be making such a fuss out of a 4 day delay... really..all this stuff is not COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) but rather built as the need arises...

Somebody mentioned Customs: If I can get a part out of Customs in Poland in 2 days(!), I bet it will not take longer in the UK. Baseline: when you get something from US and you think 2 weeks lead time, always add additional 2 for arranging transport and formalities. Usually you will end up with 3 weeks lead time.

ive always got an email reciept and he has never charged my card until he shipped my items. maybe yours is on the way.

Order Was placed on the 31st. August.. was told 7/10 days maximum....

Its now the 23rd September, and still no hood kit!

Numerous emails, calls and voice messages...

i recieved one reply on the 15th...

Ask him for the customs declaration number, usually starting with "CP########US". That number works as tracking, at least for me and once the shipment reaches Europe. Might help.

hahaha 7-10 days? that is the WDK slogan. I waited 2 months, finally I left a message to cancel my order.the next day my hood was on the way.

For a mere $2.30 ing dollars, that can be easily passed onto the customer, He could have gotten a Return Receipt which gives you a tracking number as well as proof of delivery. This way both parties are covered.

p.s: Sorry I have never Met or order from this guy but I can tell you this. He has been in business for a long time and this type of issues are common with him. HE IS DEFINITELY DOING THIS ON PURPOSE AND DELIBERATELY TO DELAY THE ARRIVAL OF HIS SHIPMENTS. I can not find any other feasible explanation as to WHY he keeps this Nonsense going, when it is plain and simple all you have to do is ask the clerks at the USPS office how to add security to your packages....

EVEN A ING MONKEY CAN DO IT !!!
