Well...I did it again. Crushed the ski into the bottom of the lake and broke the UMI again. I think Darin is right, it needs heat treated, however, the cast part has crumbled. Nothing to support it anymore. It's done.. :thumbsdown:

I allready got one from them (no questions asked great warrantee!). This is my 2nd one. I haven't contacted them again. I got my money out of it. Bought it used for $400 with the steering system and SXR conversion kit. I used it for 5 seasons.

SXR Noses are unbreakable. Not even a stress crack. I have lawn darted this sucker at least 30 times....some of them HARD.

I can't imagine an SXR hull ever needing reinforcing. I have broken 6 handlepoles, two pole brackets and countless other parts and the hull is perfect.
