If that's the case something is not right! I don't rightly know what it is.. But something isn't right! Did you properly gap your plugs? do you see the fuel actually squirting into your carbs when you prime it? Try removing the airbox so you can actually see what's going on when you cranking it

was the fuel filter full of gas , was the plug wet, you got something goiong on with your fuel lines, the other day it ws running on and now it seems no fuel?, take the pulse line off and see if you can blow thru it, what happens if you prime it a few times when trying to start it, lets get this thing going

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm ready to hit the water with this ski too. I didn't gap my plugs at all. I'm thinking fuel problems too. A few cinks to work out before getting to the water.

We will get it going if you have air, fuel and spark it will go. You have air, you say you have spark, so that leaves fuel. Pull the air box off and see if when you hold the throttle open do you see fuel dribbling into the carbs? If not we need to find ou why.

I didn't hbe time to work on my ski this weekend but I was wondering if the problem could be in the reed cages? Could u have put them upside down? Im just looking for things to check.

Is it backfiring at all when you turn it over?
If is does backfire what does that tell you?

When you checked for spark did you check both plugs?
if you have the stock coil wires it could be that, when its not firing it there even a hiccup of ignition or does it just keep turning over?

There is no upside down to the reed cages.

Backfiring can be a symptom of a bad/going bad CDI. Spark is visible but out of wack.

It seems you guys are still discussing carbs AND ignition. Have you verified that the engine starts by pouring fuel in the carn throat?

like matt said pour some gas or use primer and get some gas in the carbs,it should start if you have a spark, are you getting a spark from your plugs?

.22 is what I gap mine to. NGK plugs come not to our spec and Ive had mine run like crap in saltwater if they arent gapped right. However it should still fire out of spec.

Man I prime the sh**t out of it and still nothing. I will still try to pour some fuel from the top. It seems like Im getting a good spark. Ill gap the plugs tonight, pour a little fuel and see what happens

Im still elaning toward the coil being bad or bad wires/weak spark. but Im not the best troubleshooter around, I only know this by stuff that has happened to me before. (very little hasn't happened to me ;))
