I don't think it will work.

those tires don't look like they're meant for the road. the tongue is to short and the latch looks like somethig smaller than a normal hitch.

edit:
it doesn't have suspension either. steel construction makes it no good for salt. it's probalby over priced at $200.

Home depot has a lawn cart for $100. It's steel so it'll rust out. I don't know how much weight it can hold but if you took off the bucket and made something on it out of wood, you could be in business. Oh, and you'd have to extend the tounge. For $100 for the kart and $20 in wood, you'd have something nice for the lake I bet. For the ocean... I have no ideas.

That short of a trailer would wobble all over the road and eventually buck your ski off as it twists itsself off your hitch.

Plus no real wheel bearings. That trailer is designed for a lawn mower or ATV.

Those are ok, but they are both about 50" wide which is about the same as any single PWC trailer. I'm looking for something more like 40" wide. I think a sj is only about 27 or so wide.

You may need to get a cart or stand to put the ski on when it isn't on the trailer. Then tilt the trailer almost vertical and lean it against the wall.

I thought by trailer, you ment a ski dolly. Something like you linked is that I thought of using as a dolly. That thing you linked cannot be pulled behind a car.

This is what I was thinking when I mentioned that lawn car item I talked about. Harbor Freight sells a hitch rack for pretty cheap. I was going to mount some skids on it. Then I was going to get that kart and make a dolly for it. I was going to use the dolly, line it up and slide the ski onto the hitch rack. My truck sits low so I can back the rack into the lake no problem. No good for salt, but if you kept the trailer in the back yard, you could store the ski in the garage on the dolly for minimal space.

I figured that's what you had in mind. It would save space. They do have galvinized hitch racks for stand up you could get if you wanted to apply the same concept to the salt water. You'd have to have a low truck like my blazer so that you can back it into the water without putting the car in too deep.

I don't know what you tow with, but how about a reciever hitch rack?

I used one for a while...good setup, takes up no space, would work with any vehicle that has a class 3 hitch.
