Creative RE Purchasing
Where you pried it apart, those areas are in the flywheel cover area... those are not the mating surfaces that need to be super clean, so you're alright there. the imperative areas is the rectangular area around where the crank sits. The marks in the last picture still look to have enough sealable area to be ok.

But about the rod slapping the bottom, I do not know if that is re usable or not. Someone else will have to chime in.

OK! things are lookin up, went down to Carl's yesterday with Chris and she's all back together!

I want to thank Carl for letting me borrow his time and helping me out. the man has so much knowledge and skill, stoked to have him so close to home. thanks again Carl, your DA MAN! :notworthy:

and Chris, pointing me in the right direction with parts and never hesitates to help me out time and time again, thanks again for everything bro!:notworthy:

SO!:bananapowerslide:

the motors back together again and is better than ever. Carl says with this package it should last for 500 hours. sounds a lot better than 8! (don't swamp the motor don't swamp the motor:fingersx:) its now equipped with:

a trued and welded SBT crank
Wiseco pistons .500 over bore
61x bored and honed cylinders with some cleaning up from Carl AKA Cold Fusion
Cold Fusion Kawi style billet couplers
Cold Fusion billet head with 35cc domes
Cold Fusion billet flywheel cover w/o-ring

everything's ready but waiting on my electronics from #0. he lengthening my stator wires, bullet proofing my ebox, and rebuild/ rewiring my start/stop switch:bananajump:

pry be riding in 2 weeks! here's the pics.

so went riding FINALLY and had a blast! was stoked to have Carl, Chris, and Geoff out there not only to ride with but to have if something went wrong. added bonus was brett and his wife out from pismo and chad and andrew to watch and get stoked on there shredability.

i thought my motor ripped before, but now having every thing so fresh and tight, accompanied with the flow control valve, lightened flywheel, and carls couplers....this things got bottom end BALLS! Carl was saying the lightened flywheel with the couplers is like 1.4 shedded pounds, which is huge. the motor spins up alot quicker and is so fun to ride!

im so glad to have my ski back! :headbang:

well alots happened since then^.

went to Mark G's and got hooked up with a black AC pole that is bitchin. thanks Mark! rode o-side that weekend and my carb was too fat the first day. leaned it out the second day and ran great. got my Barrel Rolls down so was pumped.

Than headed to Pismo for the Liquid Militia ride. rode friday and rode for 15 min AGAIN and blew my splines on my mid shaft and short shaft..... do i have bad luck at Pismo or what!

took apart everything in the sand and called up Taylor Curtis to see if he had a pump and midshaft. he was so cool, he pulled the parts of his other Rickter for me! so headed to TC Freeride to pick everything up and swap some things and was back on the beach.

threw everything together in the sand. realized we didnt pull out the dowll pins (SP?) but my neighbor had that figured out with a hatchet.....hahaha!

rode the next 2 days but seemed like i just kept loosing power.... heres some pics of Pismo.

hatchet man!

So after Pismo i went to the Lake and it would barely run....sweet. was frustrated and let it sit for 2 weeks.
was in Havasu Last weekend and Tomski helped me out. checked the compression and it was good THANK GOD... was praying i didnt have a bent rod from Pismo again.... we took the carb off and apart 3 times. needle and ceet (sp?) were stuck closed, fixed, changed the jet 3 times, changed the pop off spring, and only got worse. said forget it cuz it was like 115 degrees that day.

took it down to Jet Works to Art and is ready to get fixed.
so yeah...thats the news. trying to get a running ski to practice for Surf Slam.:bananapowerslide:
