so pismo was the shiz!

had a blast..... ski ran great the first day...or at least the first 15 min until i broke my pole

so thank god Stan had an extra pole at his casa or i would have been sol.

now I'm in the market for a new pole and i got some things in the works....

had some electrical issues, my start/stop switch took a dump so i had to unplug the stop plug and turn the idle down. my carb tuning got outa wack so i need to re-adjust that.

i need to pull the e-box and put it back in my blue ski so i can run my MSD in the yellow.

finish my tubbie project. install the ffh. and a couple other little odds and ends. I'm takin a lil break from workin on it right now so ill pry do it next week.

all and all the ski is amazing! the tubbies just blew my mind. never pearled once and that thing turns so good. I'm in love with my foot holds, so much more control when doing stabs and such. my motor is so awesome.....i cant believe how much more it pulls compared to my other motor, i just makes riding so much more fun. the 46 with the ATP and V-force just makes INSTANT throttle response. my hooker was straight nuts........i can go all over the back of a wave and never cavitate.

this was great cuz i hadn't really rode in a while so after being able to ride my new ski and working on it for a while........once i got back out there i remembered exactly why i did this project, i love free-riding!

went riding this weekend, had and issue with my e box but fixed it so I could ride today... Ladies and gentlemen, I just blew up my motor. Pics and details later. FML.

sooooooo......4 rides..... 1 at Pismo, rode great till i broke my pole and swamped my motor. 2nd at pismo, rode like doo doo at the end of the day. 3rd at ventura, rode like doodoo, after further inspection my e-box was half full of water and a ground was disconnected, fixed it so i could ride it for the 4th time..... felt great, got out of the harbor, did a couple WOT bursts, all was good, WOT 3 seconds BOOM.............:no: dead.....

this quest for a barrel roll is gettin pricey.

so what it looks like happened was a bearing went out on the crank which made its way to the rear piston. the motor will spin freely about 3/4 than the last 1/4 is stuck..... rear piston is done, it will not go TDC, sleeves feel good so it will only need a one over bore. Pro-tec head is bye bye.

i pray to god that when i pull the crank the cases aren't toast......
