hey chris, what all should i bring tonight? everything? i was gonna leave the pole but do you think i should just bring it too?

i did the dremel deal until my grind stone dissapeared, it helped a little but it still hits. owell, just have to get a new one.

Zack and I got a ton done last night. The whole engine compartment is buttoned up with the exception of him turfing his tank so that the limited chamber doesn't rub on the gas tank. And he needs to tighten one hose clamp.

Just needs to slap on the turn nozzle, ride plate, handle pole and steering, and adjust the cables.

i think he's gonna steal the bars from his blue boat, and pick up the bars from you at pismo


no he needs to cut the plate also, but that is a lower priority. if it doesn't happen before pismo, won't be the end of the work.

andrew, i was going to drive and pick them up but it would be a 4 hour drive home..............

blend in my tubbies
get the bottom or atleast the sides painted
turf the tank
hook up the primer bulb
wire my bildges
d cut my ride plate
try and fit my FFH
get new REG numbers
REG it in my name haha
attach throttle cable and pole
push the start button

alright so over the weekend i turfed the side of the tank so it wont melt and got my fuel tank straps strapped.

wired the bilges so there good to go

before i put the pole on i got excited and just had to hear the motor turn over. hooked it up and was greeted with a SQUEEEELEELEELEEELEEEEL while trying to start.......... ended up being a bad starter so i used my "parts ski".....robbed and replaced with a good one. man that was a biatch to swap the starter with out removing anything but i got it done.

so Geoff you owe me a starter

put the pole on but was tripping on how springy the Blowsion spring was....... the pole was just standing straight up!

got my grips, throttle, throttle cable, steering, start/stop, and chin-pad done.

tonight ill cut my ride-plate, hook up my primer bulb, attach steering nozzle, hook up my limiting rope, and hopefully figure something out for my tubbies this week.

so 2 days ago i tried to start it and it was having massive backfires and would onlly wanna start by dumping gas in the carb and WOT.

we went thru all the tests and came to the conclusion that either the MSD is wired wrong. so we swapped it out with my Pro-tec from my blue ski and it instantly fired! thank god.......

so i swaped my ride plate with the shorter R&D i have cuz i didnt have time to cut the other.

threw some bostic on the front of the tubbies so it will be a little protected until i find time to glass them in.

and yep.........PISMO HERE I COME:usa:
