The WFO Products X-treme X2 steering system

If anyone out there wants one of these and doesn't have a stocker, let me know.. I have 2, probably 3 laying around I won't ever use. I like this setup, but my UMI is perfect for me. As much as that damn thing cost me I can't imagine switching. This would be great for those of you who are a somewhat vertically challenged, like X2 Rags! :booty:

I have nothing against the UMI at all it did everything it was supposed to do,its a nice setup, expensive but nice, I wanted the adjustability of this setup,so I just built the damn thing, hopefully others will want one too.I just got back from the welders with the first one, stock is on the way here to make many more.

Yeah it's a sweet rig man. I'm sure people will tear it up, especially considering how much any of our other options are. I sure as hell would have when I was looking to drop $300 on a UMI. Who knows, once I ride one in Daytona I may have to try it out. Mine just about right for me though, I don't see any need for me personally to adjust. However I'm sure there are a ton of people who will eat that up. Good luck!
Again, if anyone out there needs a stocker hit me up, I'll give away two of them for the price of shipping just to get them out of the garage.

Thats an awesome idea. I will need one for my X2 when the time arrives later. What is the cost going to be with a core return? Also what size diameter is the rod that the stem bolts to? I ask because BMX stems come in all different size and type of mounting. If the wrong size stem is purchased it will not fit. If its 1 1/8" then there are a ton of different cool types and styles of BMX stems to choose from.

Update time peeps

Okay here is the gig, since Kawasaki in their infinite wisdom changed everything in 1991 they have thrown a monkeywrench into the works.I recieved three steering stems from X2Addict Friday, all of them are 1990 or prior, there are at least three different steering arms used on the X2's from 1986-1995.

There are also two different I mean very different steering setups. If you have a 1991 and up steering setup I can start doing those now but you will have to send me yours so I can mod it.I will need the complete stem assy including the steering arm,you can remove the stock piece that holds the handlebars if you wish to reduce shipping charges.

These have to be shimmed properly to reduce the amount of play in the steering stems,as much as I have tried I cannot get all of the play out because of the design of the stock stem,I have however gotten it down to as small an amount as possible. This is why I need the complete assy,I cannot shim the setup without the steering arm attached and since they are different,I don't want to send someone the wrong setup.

The price on the 1991 and up stems will be $150.00 plus actual shipping.I have the bases for the 1990 and older units at several machine shops now getting quotes on machining them to accept the bearings,as soon as I get a definite cost per unit I will set a price on the 1990 and older units and start doing those also.

The machine shop just got back to me on the housings , everything is looking good and I will have some modded housings next week, the price on the 1991 and up steering assy is still $150.00,the price on the 1990 and older housings is now $165.00,it actually costs me a lot more than that to have the housings done but I was able to get some better pricing on some of the other parts and I therefore keep the cost to you fairly low. That being said if you want one now is the time to contact me ,I am set on go ,operators are standing by to take your call!

the other one is one i built, its an offset stem cut off and drilled/tapped the stem to hook it on! you can see the leftover piece of stem sitting in the foot tray...

this is an AWESOME system! (WFO's, not my stems :p)
