Post up what you know fellas! Saw some pics on Zacks Facebook page. And that Tanman had some very bad luck. While trying to hook his sinking ski the tow hook hooked his hand and he was taken to the hospital, but is doing well I think. But his ski is still missing...

Hope today is full of good times and good surf.

Not much to say. Tanner tried pulling a flip in very difficult conditions. Double overhead faces, very close spacing. His hands came off the bars and his feet stayed locked in. He got rolled by four consecutive waves before he was pulled out by the rescue sled. The rescue crew had a lot of trouble hooking his ski as it drifted further and further south towards cape Kiwanda. Tanner eventually got on a rescue boat to hook it himself. That's when he got hurt and dragged with a hook in his hand for forty feet. He was driven to the hospital. Two days later, his ski is still missing. Only the chin pad was found.

Lol, actually I didn't see it happen. I was out riding. I go to the surf only a few times a year, so I ride all day, every day. Three days so far, 25 gallons. I'm so sore, lol.

I shot probably over 6 hours of HD video. Due to it's HD nature it takes 4 times as long to upload as the clip is in length. Then Youtube takes time to process it. The first clip of the final Ross vs. Taylor is uploading. This will take a a couple of days to do everything but it will be worth it. I made some mods to my HD camcorder flip out viewfinder that were tested at the Grayland open and work very well.

My wife was where she could hear the announcers and documented who is in each of the videos so they will have finally all have titles this year.

that under flip is sick the condtion were cazy Pierre and Taylor Curtis heat was the best of the day I think they throught it down hope tanner get his ski back but great weekend over all

Saw Taylor's underflip re-entry on his facebook page..(gopro footage). I guess he broke down in the last heat according to Ross's page..
Wish I was there!
