Super Jet Selfmade Trim Question

I want to built a Trim like in Picture. Is my Nozzle to far back of the Ski? Will i get problems with handling or something?


Can this work?
Or is the Trim nozzle to short?

I lowered my exhaust. Not quite as low as you want to. As long as you have a waterbox I don't think there would be a problem. As for the nozzle I see many a/m hull setups where the nozzle hangs way out.

Trim and Exhaust Question

So, i just Try it with ne nozzle.

With the Exhaust i dont Want to have a Hard Start or something, when Exhaust is Full of water. Thats the reason for my question. I will tun pfp Box, so i should be fine.

My exhaust is probably an inch up from where you have yours. Protec makes an extended nozzle if you end up wanting to buy one.

i dont know how you plan on building your trim but heres a pick of mine its a wave radder nozzle with a x2 trim ring and steering nozzle. i can get you more pics if you want them good luck

Ah so you r gonna make the trim on end of nozzle, not sure if anyone's ever tried that or how well it would work

Its just put together to show what iam trying at the Moment. But when its like this, there is no Problem with the Steering Cable. Its just an idea, and not the final product. I hope somebody can say anything about the + and -

How will the pull cable work when the steering nozzle is turned? You'll have to mount the cable end on the nozzle itself?

I think you are barking up the wrong tree.

If you want to make your own trim, then just get an oem trim ring and trim steering nozzle at least.

why should this happen? The cable gets longer, if i turn... That means, trim is reduced @ full turning the nozzle.

The cable would half to be mounted on one side. So turning one way it would be reduced and the other way it would trim up

how are you going to mount the pump with the cable on top?

Its just stuff laying around. The Big Black holder, will go deeper, or i dont let him there. Iam not sure yet. Iam just trying this stuff together which i have laying around.

But you can lay the cable through the top of the Pump, theirs enough room. Not for this, but for a normal cable, its no problem. A Holder can mountet in the piece where it is now

you are also not going to be getting much thrust deflection also.

Trust us. Pick up a raider trim ring and steering nozzle, Weld you some bosses onto your stock nozzle and go from there. Search "CATS". When you turn the bars, the trim is ging to pull up some, that cable is not limber like a piece of spaghetti noodle or string. It will be stiff in turn it will pull the nozzle upwards
