we dont have a jtski zone , you just have to stay out of the public swimming area( areas under the watch of the lifeguards towers) the rest of the beach is public access

it's just a matter of time and my busy schedule. my preference is surf and i go out of my way to ride it every chance i get. don't confuse me w/ those who ride fresh all of the time when there is a break less than a few minutes away. once you have a family, work 40hrs a week and a small business let me know how much time is available for carting out or driving 30min to the nearest inlet for a 2-3hr ride. thats also considering no one that goes breaks down, making the trip even longer

been there and done that, and not much of a chance of me ever going back to it. life is to short to not enjoy it.

i wouldn't give up my kids for anything in the world, the wife is partialy responsible for everything i have at this point. i don't want to grow up, thus i live every day like it was my last. this explains my addiction to extreme sports and the adrenaline rush involved w/ them.

we ride until 30min after sunset!!

as stated by florida maritime law

hope everyone isn't trying to bail on the ride. i am trying to make it more than worth the time for everyone, with a little something for everyone
you can understand my disappointment if the turn out is small. i like nick put a lot of time and effort into the promotion of the events at hand .

your best bet is to not force it... provide a good ride and let it happen. I am just very lucky w/ my location and time of year.

arguing w/ people about it will not make more people come. :twak:

:puppy_dog_eyes: ummm, have we all forgot someone???

You have not been forgotten dear friend. Mario pm’d me a last week stating you guys intended to return to Florida in April, and he kindly offered to do some work at the house here. He stated your trip was intended for visiting family, yet that you wished to incorporate riding into it. I simply guessed you were attempting to coordinate your visit with the Secret Spot Ride suggested by Stricky for April (recall, there were many unable to alter plans for this coming weekend). I would suggest you attempt to check out various spots around Florida when the opportunities arise, for we are the only state which can still boast so many wonderful spots for surf (for a ski, at this point in history anyhow).

I wish to check out the Pensacola ride, for the people already on the roll call seem nice (and it did seem like much work had gone into that event for all of us when I checked a while back). I also wish to go to the Secret Spot Ride when it gets nailed down. I would like to see a ride up in Vilano (St. Augustine) and Hugo (Jacksonville) as well this year, maybe wrapping back around one last time in Sebby before big Tona ‘10.

Perhaps these rides can all be coordinated at times so as to not conflict with each other, or any other major rides happening out of state. It would seem like the most logical thing to do, and rather easy to accomplish with proper planning and coordination.

My .02 anyhow.

I imagine the Sebby meet will need to take place, and then the hype settle down, prior to any online discussion Mario…it’s the way it normally works anyhow. It's kind of hard for everyone to focus on two rides at once is all. :wavey:

Will, Rags, Mario, and anyone else.....if you guys are interested in riding in April. I'll be in FL from 4/10-4/18 or 19. Riding everyday as usual. I booked at Coral again.

Thats my plan as well! Although we will probably spend Friday night in Ormond because we'll be shot after the drive. Mario that would be awesome if you guys came!

I'll def be @ SS ride Sat AM. Although I'm not bringing my 24/7 lightweight on this trip. I have to start preping it, to pull a mold off the bottomdeck...LOL No way that will be done in a month.

We just got back from ripping down there for the week. It was awesome.

Can't wait to head back. Guards were really cool we had the whole zone to our selves and the guards kicked out any one who went swimming. Wish jersey had something similar.
