I just heard from Taylor Curtis, that Randy Laine had a bad surf accident the other day. Randy broke his hip in the accident. I don't know all the details of the accident, but Randy is looking at a long recovery period.
Randy is a great athlete & the prognosis & his stong will to survive will cut his recovery time down I'm sure.

Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery

I asked Taylor to post here & let everyone know the details of the accident.

Sorry to hear that, I broke my hip skating when I was younger and it hurt like a bitch. Recovery took some time but wasnt that bad. Hope you have a speedy recovery and rip the surf again soon.

I have not said anything about this because I was not sure if Randy wanted it know or not yet. But he broke it beaching his sitdown during a tow surf clinic (as far as I know). And it got sideways and rolled up the beach.

Hopefully Taylor will get on here and explain the whole deal, cause he was there.

Regardless, he is in our thoughts and prayers and he will be back. I have no doubt of that. And it is not the same with out him in the water.
