update: those waves were friggen huge..i mean huge..monster bails and i never seen so many backflips :bsflag:
Sounds like we maybe riding out of Holland Tuesday, if it big. We'll update later.
Yeah.............I looked at the webcam this morning, there was one ski in the water and a Roleez beach cart on the sand............who was there?:sneaky:
what time. I'd rather drive a half hour over a an hour anyday.
I think that goes without saying.
I still make the 500 mile round trip. Beats staying home. I can't even ride. Your pinging pretty low on the Hardcore meter.
Bottom line, I'f I'm gonna go freeze my nuts off there had better be some waves.
what's Wednesday look like?
HAHAHAHAHA!
I didnt show after talking to Mark. I was on the road when I called.
It wasnt worth the drive for the little waves you guys were getting.
I grew up on the Atlantic. The stuff you call "surf" here in MI is nothing short of depressing most days.
Get it ANYTHING over 4' and I will be there. Bottom line, I'f I'm gonna go freeze my nuts off there had better be some waves.
If you don't like our surf, move back to the Atlantic. It is what it is, like it our leave it, but don't bitch about it.
btw... if we ride holland where are we putting in at? i've put in @ the beach (freestyle geek driving down the sidewalk stir any memories?) and at the marina on the north side of the lake towards the channel.
the problem has always been getting fuel if out there... by the time you get out and in you're down 1/4 tank, and its easy to burn through the rest in a few sessions (marsh? can you feel your toe yet from towing me through the channel? lol) that and those pesky surfers/fisherman (superrob? remember the dude on the pier yelling at us?lol)
but... i'm up for any weekday anywhere at/around 4pm...
waves are looking healthy for the week.
