Hi...
I live in France and i work with Lenzi for Yvan Potanin...
we haves tested all the hull ( Q8, rickter..)and all the motor (waterdawg, x-screm.etc)
too light is not good..minimum weight for the hull is 34kgs...with hood
In 2006, lenzi used a carbon hull at havasu, too light, it had been to make to weigh it down during the week end with a disc of bodybulding..

actually, the good shape is sxr bottom hull, (Q8 and new Lenzi boat)..
very large for a big motor...(Polaris EME and Polaris PSI for Potanin boat)
very stable...
Q8 and Lenzi boat are made for a "top gun " freestylers but not very good for freeride...
Rickter is a polyvalent hull..good for freeride and easy for freestyle!

this is a Lenzi hull prototype...Old of January month..
The hull is very short..(cut behind and on the front)
Fiberglass model...38kg with hood..
The top deck is belitled of 5 cms..
Now, this is a jet of ERic Forney..France..top Free rider..
800 sxr engine with factory pipe and stock pump..

Have you tried different rideplates, a longer plate will help trim the hull down in the nose. Or shim a shorter plate down to get the same effect. I would say try a longer or even extended rideplate in the surf before you add weight. Ski looks nice.

Now..this a last prototype of lenzi for Yvan Potanin..
Fiberglass hull..37Kgs
The hood is more "flat"
the pole is more on the front..
this hull is more shorty than the January prototype..
1100 PSI engine POlaris and 1100 EME engine...145 kawa magnum pump...
Power factor..Total loss and 48 novi..
6 boats for Yvan...
This boat is very dificult to ride for novice...To shorty, and big power!
it's a spécial boat, for a "topgun" riders!

Yes..For freeride, Eric Forney use a stock SXR ride plate on this boat...more stable...
but Yvan use a very very short ride plate, maybe..20 cms length.
This jet is "explosif"..
He do back flip "clicker" on the flat!! and back flip superman!
