videotape his 4th of july celebration tomorrow. its bound to be loud. right? get yourself on video asking him to stop because the noise is bothering you. get it allllll on tape.

hopefully he'll light off some illegal fireworks and you can bust him on it.

Just dont ride in front of the pesky neighbors house, put in, head up the lake, and dont stay in one place for long.........

Also, get video of him ignoring the other people riding seadoo's and such......... and get video of him when you go out......... use that as proof that he is singling you out.........

Aree with Big Kahuna's post - ride further away and block off your side exhaust if you have one... I've changed riding spots in the past and it sucks

Thanks for the advice everyone! This has been an ongoing battle for close to 3 years now, but they are more determined than ever to keep me from riding. Our families were on speaking terms probably the first couple of months way back when we got our house, but other than that, like Chris said, there is no reasoning with him.

Today we loaded two perfectly stock and legal skis (Sj and FX1) onto the trailer and are going riding in an hour or so. Were going to get footage of all the skis and violations in the area, and then a follow along as we ride away and around the lake. It is almost a given that the DNR will be called as soon as we arrive so we will tape the entire process when we get pulled over.

What ever happens keep riding that lake and get the local media involved if you can or an email campaign if need be.

If your legal and quiet and stay away from boats they will eventually leave you alone.

I took out my TDR and made may ski quiet again. I don't feel any loss in power at all.

The ODNR and coast guard here in Cleveland have been off the hook lately with the harassment!:drillsergeant: :drillsergeant: I think they are just sick of getting calls from certain a hole boaters who get irritated to easily.:AR15firing:

ride by marks place maybe? or just outside the cove towards reasors. i mean hell there are a few standups out there. i bet the people near the guy with the sxr are use to the noise and would just enjoy seeing some decent riding.

also since i know you have some county connections, check google maps for large lakes. maybe have your mom find out the names and numbers of the owners. talk to them. if they have kids offer to let them ride some, maybe give them some freestyle training etc. best bet would be lake spivey though, its private and dnr is only there on the weekends. i think its 1000 acres or so.

A ride is a sweet idea that we've been throwing around for a while! Maybe if i find a new spot to tear up, we could have ourselves a little freeride :sneaky:

we've been networking with a bunch of local wakeboarders and other lake home/ boat owners and some are having a relative problem with the same guy and people..its really frustrating but everything will end up for the better..were currently getting in touch with the AWA, APBA, and many more people to see what alternate options we might have...

We were able to get in touch with the head DNR guy and he said bascially if he sees us do anything but ride in a straight line he's going to consider it "wreckless riding". Guess all freestyle tricks just happen by coinsidence.
Also tried to negotiate a specific time and place for practicing during the day thats out of the way and convinient, havent been able to get that either....

Doing any tricks will be considered "Reckless Operation", if you get a Ticket, just pay it, you cannot win............
