Actually, I dont think the AWA can do much for the Interpretation of Reckless Operation................ Which no matter how much we may dissagree with it, it is Reckless.................. I know, I will be limping for the next few weeks from the torn muscle tissue in my right leg.

that is not true and we are in the process of changing that interpretation of the law here. california deparetment of boating and waterways says that it is just the interpretation of the law. wakeboarders get upside down all day long doing flips, the only difference is that we are vessel operators, but just like if a wakeboarder messes up he can slide into a boat and cause just as much damage. if someone got a really light ski and tied it to the back of a boat and was doing tricks like a wakeboarder they would get in trouble (even if the engine was not there or not running) it is the fact that we are on skis that is the problem.

word up. hope everyone posting in this thread has a current AWA membership!

This sounds like the perfect time to chime in with a new shirt that I currently have in production phases.

This shirt is available for purchase now, although shipping will not take place for another 7-10 days.

A portion of each sale will be donated to the AWA to help fight unfair PWC laws around the country.

Buy one today to guarantee your size will be in stock

Considering my affinity for black....I almost guarantee there will be a black version as well.

i was telling him i think it woul dbe sick if he had the decal of the guy doing a backflip on the back of the shirt....

That is what is going to be on the back, but pretty small, just under the collar.

I think the "jetskiing is not a crime" sentiment is felt by all, coucheres included, so I don't want make it too freeride-centric.
