I know you guys like to support your manufacturers of the US, what is quite good.
But for those who are interessted in the lightweight.de hull: they now have designed Sponsen together with MarcSickerling.com and MartinSchaub.de There also is a new backflip designed rideplate, pictures are gonna follow. It really is a high german quality product, without soundnig cocky I think we can say it is one of the best. The only problem is that those guys dont really promote their Products as they just do it in there freetime. Martin Schaub and Martin Lorenz do awesome Motors for Sickerling and Florjancic, but I bet most of you never heard of them.

Those who are going to lanier can check out my boat there unfortenatly I dont have the sponsens installed yet.

Blowsion sells them in the USA so check their price on a lightweight.de hull

see ya Jens

What's the price of a hull in Germany? I live in Belgium, so it would be stupid to order a hull from Blowsion?
Thanks.

Hmmm....interesting concept. Have you tried it?

parrdaddy

No he will not!
Actually, the ride plate acts like a long plate at higher speeds to help keep stability, but like a shortened D cut plate at slower backflip speeds. It's a pretty smart idea if you ask me  And those tubbies are more than you see too, they are removable! You can use them in the surf for rippin it up, or take them off for flat water freestyle......but wait, there's more........if you call within the next 10 minutes, you'll also get the ability to add ballast water to two seperate water tanks in each sponson so you can change the center of gravity of your ski to your liking :cheer:

Those Germans always come up with the good stuff :hail:

When you are going fast the wing is out of the water and when you are going slow it sucks the back end down. The "non wing part" is curved up and the wing part is even with the hull. The sponsons are not new, they are a different design of a tubbie. I talked with Mark and Norbert quite a bit about the ride plate last week, Mark and Romain Stampers are doing the final testing this week then hope to have them available to sell soon.

Marc posted prices on the other board, right now it's $11,500 USD for the flatwater hull setup and about $12,00 for the "freeride" edition. These prices appear to be sale prices and include everyting (the hood, nose cover, handpole, tubbies, rideplate). I don't know if that's the price from Blowsion.

I like the looks of that rideplate, it looks really sweet. It's $400 USD if anyone's wondering.

thos elast pictures are better you can see what the plate looks like
it would tend to help you rock at slower speed
cool looking thing as well

That ride plate is awesome such an elegant engineering solution, these guys really have their shtuff together.

I'm used to seeing so many things with jetskis done cause it looks good, or trial and error, good to see some thought going into it.
