Damn, I'm grumpy. I can't sleep. I've been workin on my ski for 10 days straight. I haven't shaven in three days and am wearing the same clothes. I have been to 4 different hardware stores on 4 different trips today...

I feel like 10 miles of bad road...all I can this about is (finish the ski, finish the ski)

See ya in Lanier! :woot:

Oh, I am sitting here at the puter drinking a Bud Light........... Why? Some of you may say, along with get out there and finish your ski.............. Well, the reason being is that other than some cleaning up, and adding a sticker or two (never finished before the Texas Ride) The SJ is finally back together...............

OK guys, kick it into high gear.............

I'll be saving a spot on my boat for some x-h2o stickers!

Go ahead, bring those german carbon hulls. Just remember, its about details and overall appearance; not weight! otherwise, the Kawi wound'nt have a chance!! lol

I'd be pretty good if I were as close as you. No big deal though.......if I do not get it done I will still bring what I have. At least then I can show the squarenose guys that XFT bracket and pole. The paint look good as well as the motor. I screwed up some carbon fiber stuff but I will fix that at a later date. The main thing is just keep plugging away at a steady pace. If I rush to much I will just stop........that takes the fun out of building and makes you do stupid mistakes that I will have to live with.

 Only a Kawi guy would do that :haha: At least yours will be up and running......can't wait to see it. With any luck mine will BRAP!!! for the first time at lanier. It is very hard to say.......we are having unseasonably cool weather in KY and that is delaying my drying times......I have the heater going in the garage righ now.

hey rat, did you have to modify the hood alot for the xft pole? I just got done putting an xmw pole on my square, but now my hood needs tons of work to make it look nice. I definately dont have time to do that before lanier, but it rides sooooo much better now.

That reminds me, anyone have an old squarenose hood they wanna sell me for cheap so I can chop it up and make it fit the xmw setup?

I don't know I don't have my pole yet  :banghead: That comes on Wed

Sergio at XFT did all the mock up for me and I am going to be the first to run this prototype bracket made specifically for a squarenose w/ a XFT pole. :woot: So it is a direct bolt on!!!!! Hopefully once I run it and give him my feedback we can get something on the market for the squarenose guys. The good thing is if you ever get a roundnose you can keep the XFT pole and just run a different bracket. Any round nose type pole just has better geometry to it which is why they feel so nice and improve handling all around. That on a squarnose hull that handles well is a killer combination IMO. I am going to be busting my butt to get it close to complete if not complete by/at Lanier. I will at least bring what I have b/c you squarenose guys will appreciate it
