Thanks for the good reviews.

I have 3 people with skipping DVDs. (I wanna be honest on here!) If your DVD is skipping on your regular DVD player let me know immediately and I'll get a new one out to ya! (In the meantime, try it on your computer).

Or save DJ the trouble and burn yourself a copy of it at a 2x burn rate and no label, then it will almost definately work on any dvd player. (not saying to burn it for other people either, just for yourself if yours is skipping lol)

If you need a program to burn it with use dvdshrink. Do a google search it is free.

will dvd shrink actually burn? i have used it to rip and compress, i don't think it burns. it will if you have a burning rom installed though

there is one called burn aware free edition i have used that is really good on the pc side of things

on the mac. popcorn ( not free, but if you are industrious . well....)

Burned DVDs in older DVD players are a crap shoot. What brand is he using? I only use Sony or TDK. Are the DVD-R or DVD+R? DVD-R are more compatible with older players. We did bring up labels throwing them off balance earlier.

I'm out west so it might be another day or two for mine to get here.

They are DVD R-. Yes, you can just straight burn them. I am just using NERO. I am sending out new copies today to anyone who has skippage...:usa2:

Got my copy yesterday and watched it right away last night. Very clean footage, like the helmet cam view from "SXR4EVER" i believe? The music was also a big plus also, i thought it flowed with the clips very well. Ronny's graphics were top notch also! Keep the Great work coming!!!

Killer vid dude. My only suggestion would have been to split the vid into chapters for easier fast forwarding/skipping. Other than that, you captured the essence of freerides really well.
Oh it didn't work on my main upscaling dvd player, but it did work on my older plain dvd player. Just means I gotta hook up my extra dvd player to my main tv.

DJ GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!! Video and music were great. The underwater helmet cam subs was fantastic.

Got mine yesterday, was only able to watch about half. I enjoyed what I did see and can't wait to watch the rest. I liked seeing a big variety of people.

No skipping for me, just no time to watch it yet

Had to buy a new DVD player today as my other stuff didn't want to play this movie.
It was well worth it, Great movie.:Banane01:

This one is "by riders for riders" where not every trick is completed successfully, which is how 99% of us ride. Whipping out can be the best part of a days riding.
Music fit the footage like a glove with a ton of fun energy.
Lots of names with faces will make every consecutive ride easier to know who's who.
The Niagara River action looked insane. :headbang:
The "Death of the King" made bubbles appear from my nose as he fittingly found water at the end. The whole "winter" thing was a nice break.
All in all, a great atmosphere which will make me go to as many of these events as possible.

I spent about 80 hours trying to get the chapters to work.
My brother did too...
I've got one more guy on it (ski4). He is trying it on his Mac. He has probably put about 80 hours into it too...It just keeps crashing or the music comes out about 2 seconds behind the video.

What has always blown my mind is that knowing how hard this stuff is to do....how does the industry keep our friggin TV's flowing non stop 24 hours a day with fully edited shows on 300 friggin channels???

I can't even imagine all the work that goes into television. And it is all over the world 24-7/365!

awsome job dj!!! killer vid i loved every second....however make that 4 that skip..mine starts skipping in the ski ohio segment and then just quits playing..works great on the computer tho' no need to send another one i'll just burn another copy...or just watch it here on the puter no big deal........

well i htink i found my problem with menus/chapters. you can't have more than 15 minutes of motion menus or it will fail to burn

i think i had about 20 minutes

i cut back and am re rendering AGAIN!!!!!
lets see how this goes
