+16mm Crank
90mm Pistons
180psi Head pump gas
RIVA 48mm Carbs
VFORCE 2
Prok Flame Arrestors
MSD Total Loss System
PFP power factor Dry Pipe System
Skat Trak Mag Pump 140, 12 vains.
Skat Trak Impeller .12/18 (144) ?

My problem is to comfigurar everything?
timing curves msd? to impeller? carbs jeting low and high and seting. My hull is XFT CARBON for freestyle. my intension is back flyp in flat water acceptance all the suggestions-:barrel:
ALREADY CRASH 5 PISTONS OF THE SIDE OF EXHAUST PORT.
… what is the safe configuration ???

I would think DASA should be able to provide you with all of this information from jets to impeller specs

I wish you would have asked these questions when you bought the motor, or 4 pistons ago.

You crashed 5 pistons? Meaning you lean seized them? Or the timing isn't set right? I know of noone we sold "5" pistons to. Who are you getting the pistons from? I SERIOUSLY hope you aren't using "off the shelf" pistons because they will "CRASH" the dome.

Are you sure the compression is 180?

Did you buy this engine from DASA or a dealer?

Please call the shop and ask for Kyle and we will get your setup worked out.

Did you call the shop? Seriously..the people that build these things will have a clue on what they are talking about.

Just because you don't have a "builder" doesn't mean you can't call the manufacturer of the motor. I would trust them way before people that haven't even owned a DASA 16mm...
 
Call the guys at DASA and ask for Kyle...you will not get better information.

Maxi has built me a couple of boats to ride down there the past couple of years, and I have a lot of faith in his abilities.

I THINK YOUR PUMP IS TOO SMALL, WITH THIS BIG MOTOR!
what s your set up carb?

he mentions dual 48 novis but no info on jetting.assuming it's a 140 pump,seems small but will not explain the crashed pistons.

why doesn't he call DASA once and for all?

First post clearly states it's a 140mm pump.
Of course, that same post also claims a 144mm impeller. :crazy:
A 12/18 pitch would do nothing but spin in that, even if you could get it to fit.

IS GOOD FOR MSD

initial 28° in 5000 rpm retard 15° to 9000 rpm
