Got Blasted by the Blaster tonight!

I was troubleshooting a start/stop switch problem tonight with the plug wires off, and I finally hooked them back up for a full checkout once I got done with everything. I hit the button, and

BAM!!

I shat myself. I'm damn glad I didn't have my head in the engine compartment!

My girlfriend had just come out a couple minutes before I hooked the plug wires back up to tell me that the cat wanted me to turn down the stereo in the garage. I replied to her that the cat would have to learn to like the stereo at the level it was. :Banane09:

Anyway...following the BAM!, the stereo sounded damn near like someone had turned it off....then the volume increasingly got louder. I thought...holy shiat.

I obviously got some good fumes in the pipe and ignited the mfers!! I blew apart the hose that connects the chamber to the waterbox!!!! pretty neat huh!!?

Haha...just 93 octane. I swear though... That was the loudest damn noise I have ever heard in my life. I had the hood up...and it was inside the garage.

And for anybody thinking it, the firebug Gil was not here. Hahaha

I know. I shook the waterbox when I pulled the hose off. It's all good. Luckily I had a spare hose that was still on the blaster I am parting out. I got it back together and everything is all good. :beerchug:

I blew apart a squarenose waterbox one sunday morning..Couple of the neighbors came outside to see what happened..

Ewok had an ultra 150 that woudl backfire the couple off the waterbox EVERY week when it was cold....that was some funny ********

we were in the garage once, and i blew my b pipe off of the coupler ( wasnt on tight enough ) and that sucker blew so loud it knocked a tennis ball out of the drainage hole that i wedged my kayak hanging from the ceiling, . Must have sent out a huge shock wave.
