And since I'm NOT spending any money on decals...........some carefully placed Sharpie helps camoflage the dock rash. It's far from perfect but REALLY helps keep the eyes from zero-ing in on the damage.
That was my thought also , a couple of years back I had one get a pine cone stuck between the blades, you couldn't see it till you removed the pump from the hull .GTI..........shakes.........spring rains...........WOOD IN THE PUMP!!
Not petty at all. I do the same thing. You wanna pay less??......You're gonna get less!!!since the guy jewed me down on the asking price , I didn't do it, he also didn't get a cover, dock rope or the nice waterproof container the regs were in, I am petty like that, it's a character flaw but I am good with it.
Yep you won't get as nice of a trailer, a cover or anything else if you balk on the price with me. , I like to think that my prices are fair and the quality of these machines is excellent. Not petty at all. I do the same thing. You wanna pay less??......You're gonna get less!!!
Yeah I was being generous at $1000 really $800 is about top tier here for a Waverunner lll , that one is in fairly nice condition though .what foam piece or spray foam u use to fix seats ?
those WRIII sell for $ 500 here .....
You got a link or part number for that Bosch regulator? I needed one a while back and for the life of me couldn't find any notes on which one it was! I've had coils on the RFI act like that. Also had rusty metal bits stuck to the crank sensor do that too.Back from the water test , it didn't go that well , it ran good for a few minutes then it started cutting back , to me it seemed to be running lean , I thought that maybe the voltage regulator was bad , I unplugged it , nothing happened , my best guess is that the fuel pressure regulator is partially clogged up , those have a paper filter element inside and when it's stopped up , that's it, I don't think I replaced it and one has been ordered already.
The fuel gauge is not working , but that is a pretty easy fix , I have several canisters around here for parts , the maint. warning and light is flashing , I do have the programmer for this as well as all the factory fuel pressure testing equipment that I will install next time I run the ski.
The last one I ran across like this it was a fuel pressure regulator that was the culprit .
I may borrow the regulator off the other ski and go run it again, right now we are in the middle of yet another thunderstorm.
