Has anyone figured out what a good material would be to put between the b-pipe and the inside of the top deck to prevent rubbing?

I was thinking turf, but then thought that would most likley melt.

Any ideas?:dunno:

thin rubber you can get at any hardware store in plumbing dept . turf only will last a ride or so

my buddy put three pieces on his square and it lasted all last season(we removed them to reinforce and put them right back on over the reinforcement)

it doesnt make the pipe get all that grey metal mush all over the engine bay from rubbing directly against fiberglass.

another good thing to do is to lift the inlet side of the water box up with a secondary pad or a couple layers of turf.

as said before i have had turf on my chamber for over 1 season it is still holding up well.
