Fix for b-pipe rubbing

i went with the grey diamond pattern...

Even though my b-pipe was bought used, I don't think I have the heart to dent it with a hammer. I think a part of me would die.

please tell me you don't really need that factory pipe "elbow" or whatever they call it connecting the chamber to the waterbox. I just cut my stock rubber exhaust tube and tightened it down real hard.

Does this work for everyone? I don't feel like ripping everything back apart because of an exhaust leak.
 
you can use the stock hose.

some b pipes rub and some dont. we're only talking a fraction of cat hair. with variables such as alignment, mating surface machining, reinforcement, inconsistancy of bondline trueness, etc, its not surprising that they rub a little. throw some turf in there and youre good to go.

my pipe doesnt rub while installing the pipe or while its at rest... but after pulling my motor and looking at my reinforcement it sure as hell rubs while the motor is running.
