I forgot!
i hit my head so hard off my hood i had a headache for 5 days, not a bad one but still a nice tender spot near my temple and a little stutter and constant drool for the rest of the weak. i am fine now. this is one tough trik to learn.

The first couple rides you feel goofy wearing one...

After that, it's second nature. Wearing a helmet is a must for getting new tricks down.

I just switched to a hockey helmet for BR attempts, it looks goofy but is lighter, more comfortable, and better visibility than the MX helmet. I usually land upside down and would not attempt without it.
IMHO even more important than a helmet = DO NOT BAIL. Better to be attached to than attacked by a 300 lb. missile

if you ride dirtbikes make sure you dont use your good helmet or atleast take the visor off. I look like a goon now without my visor out riding my bike. water will rip it right off.

But yes helmet is suggested. I learned the hardway, i was riding my sxr, old faded\dried out turf=no traction and i was doing a powerslide 360 and feet slipped out, ski was still spinning, i fell face first into the bondrail and got me cold. was the worst feeling of my life. ive gotton concussions before, they were all fast so i didnt really remember anything, this one. it was slow, my whole body went tingling and numb last i remember was struggling to stay face-up and pulling my face above the tray then i was out.
