as I sit here drinking a Mountain Dew - these things are evil

Drop the pop and youll be in the 170s easily darin. Most people I know dropped an honest 5-10 pds in a month by just switching to water.

Average can of pop is 140 calories x 7 days= 980 calories/week x 4 weeks = 3820(3500= 1 pd of weight ). So, you figure at least 12 pds a year by consuming pop or soda products will be added.

I know all about those numbers, and I've cut back considerably, it's just that's my caffeine fix and I hate diet dew. That has been part of my loss so far actually.

I eat pretty healthy actually, it's just a Mountain Dew or 2 a day that I could stand to cut out also.

still down to 198 though, just from eating super clean.

197 today fully hydrated, I've powerlifted 2x this week so far... (sun/mon)...

Commuted to work via bicycle last night and tonight. Last night was only 3 miles each way, today it's over 20 each way... :woot: :woot: :woot: :Banane01: :skull2:

down to 186. I have not been on a bike or treadmill for 1 1/2 weeks. Put a coating on my garage floor 1/16 to 1/8 some kind of polymer floor that did not cure properly and for the last 1 1/2 weeks i have been chipping it up with a ice chipper and chisel :banghead: . now i am looking forward to getting on the bike and tread mill. 6 pounds to go by the 25th

5th week in to my training and the bathroom scale read 210 last night. That's 15 - 20lbs (but using a different scale) so far.

I'm still nursing a buggered up wrist, but it's only slowed me down so far - hasn't stopped me yet.

holding at 184 and now the wife is pissssssed at me. We are both on a diet but one of us is sticking to it. tried on a pair a pants last night that she wanted to throw away because the were size 32 waist, they were a little tight but went on :arms: . later is asked her what was the name of these jeans because i like them so much. then she saw the size i am in the dog house. she was down 5 lbs but i think it is now only three after mothers day.

I'm lucky that my wife is the one that helped kick me into gear, though I had to make the decision myself. She's right at the lower limit for 'healthy' weight for her height and having to bump up her Weight Watchers points to maintain.

I'm at 179.4 as of this morning, still creeping down toward 170. I can wear my size 32 Slippery board shorts again!

Don't let your wives get upset that they can't burn fat off as quickly as you can. Men are built to burn fuel. Estrogen, IIRC, hinders that process.

I'm floating at 176/177 for weeks now. I saw 175 once one day, but I would serious have to kick into overdrive to get over this plateau I am on.

Great job guys. Keep it up.
