OK. not electronics. The flywheel broke. It is a Vilder Flywheel and the outer ring popped off. They are just EPOXY-ED on!! WTF....gonna drill and tap some holes into this ring and screw it back together and then zap weld the screws in place.

It also destroyed my pickup coil. DAMMIT!

OK...RE-Epoxied the flywheel back together....going to put some set screws in it so it will never come off again and then tack-weld the heads so they don't move. Epoxied the pickup coil back on too...should work. Jeff used a bent fork to set the timing...it's set at stock setting.

Okay, flywheel is fixed, but pickup coil won't stay epoxied down. Anyone have a pickup coil for an SXR??? Not sure if a 750 one will work. Mine just broke off when the flywheel wacked it.

OKAY, Anyone with a aftermarket flywheel should drill some holes in it and thread in some screws to hold the ring on. NOT SURE why they don't do this??????????? Its a no brainer.

They are just epoxied on??? WTF is that?

Still need the little pickup coil off of a 750/800 kawi stator.
