Let 1hydroman know if you guys need anything brought down to Daytona, he is placing another Hot Products order Monday, or grab it from stock and we can bring stuff on the plane.
A few of those waves are huge!

Those are some huge waves in some of those pics. I think you'd see me on the beach in that kind of surf. I get 1-2 foot waves off boats all weekend if I'm lucky and once or twice a weekend, I'll see a 3 foot wave. I think making the jump to 6+ footers is a bit more than I can handle in an afternoon.

great day today!! awesome surf! any pix???

Funny I was just resizing them....Unfortunatly most sucked. The whitewash on the inside break was just too big to get any good pics of the outside. Here are a few, I'll see if there are any others.

70F and sunny... Real nice day. Hoping it hits 80F tomorrow.

Seems like every picture I see the waves are crashing at crazy quick intervals. Is it always like that at Daytona?

Your perspective from that vantage point it's always gonna look bunched up.. The waves you are seeing are over 10 second period and that is considered good IMO....

In the second pic that wave closest to the beach is probably 100-200 ft away from the wave breaking in the back set

have zipties will ride! :bananapowerslide:

That ziptied POS X-2 has gotten us through 6 days of surf riding. Only 2 "swim in's", dead battery yesterday, and my brother sunk it throwing it away the first day. This same ski lasted another 9days of abuse in April, and 9 days last daytona. I'd put it up there with any other ski for reliability...LOL It lives to brap another day.

On another note the waves were the cleanest of all days we have been here. It was very glassy.

TOMORROW WE'RE RIDING @ THE MAKAI RIDESPOT!!!! SWEET!

Nothing really worth posting...we are camera'd out.

When I sleep I dream reentries.

Rode the bike to and from the ridespot being it was so warm today. (I wore a helmet on the street portions)

To survive day upon day of surf riding, you need FreeRide Pasta. Tons and tons of spinich, tomato, and Barilla plus pasta.

They might as well be a mile apart! Those are beautiful...I am lucky if I get 4 second intervals..... I am hoping for Glassy waves like that for the entire ride except the race. I want anarchy during the race...it's my only shot... :banghead:

nice plate of pasta , keep eating your greens, so whats up what is the schedule today, nothing like a dip in the ocean to cure any hangover

Its cold and rainy today, surf is chopped up, and we didnt get in till 5am. BUT I am still debating going for one last 1/2 tank rip. 6 solid days of riding in and I am starting to hurt, so I might puss out. Been best daytona trip yet. Besides the epic swell we hit...watching NYE fireworks on the beach at midnight last night, beer in hand, in a tshirt with temps over 70F might have been the highlight of the trip.
