Daytona X-mas Trip - DAYTONA OVERHEAD SURF PICS

Just a few pics to get stoked on for the ride.

We left 21F with 2' of snow, to arrive in 79F florida 15hrs later. The air cooled down since into low 60's, but the water is 65F... so a 2/3 suit is perfect. Surf was so fun yesterday! It died down and chopped up a bit today, but it still looks fun. About to leave to go to the zone right now! BRAP!

Yes, I was surprised it actually fired up yesterday. Steering cable popped off after a 1/2 tank, so we just traded off on the X2.

mostly warm... but it has dropped into the low 60'sF on occasion... Today isn't that bad air or water temp, it's just that the surf sucks.... It's like 55F today and was suppose to be 62F...

Unexpectedly fun. It was breaking pretty good at the south zone.

Woke up to a gem today...strong sun, light offshores, and glass surf. Rolling out in a few to rip!

Yesterday was a complete surprise to us. Waves looked like junk here @ makai/coral. Drove down to the ridespot and they were breaking shoulder+ and heavy. Total score.

We're here till Saturday.
