I can easily release if that is the concern. Neither are tight at all.

The front strap is front of foot (loose) only and the rear strap is pretty loose when my foot is in the hold.

Looks like an ankle breaker to me too .

I'm installing just a single strap at the front because it's easier and cheaper than buying a front foothold .
I'll probably never need it though because of my lack of balls

I'm inclined to agree with everyone on the ankle breaker aspect of the straps.....but until you ride them, who really knows.

For what it's worth....I only put my front foot in so my toes barely stick out the front....but on my blaster, I slide damn near half my foot into the staps. I've also never had any problem releasing from the straps on the blaster when I want to.

Screw it I'm rollin with it. They are loose enough yet there when I want them.

To me they feel as safe as REV with enclosures. The Euro guys are doing stuff way more extreme than this. I'm ready for it. I'm going big or I'm limping home.

I don't nor have I ever ridden with my foot in at 90 degrees though so.....

I'm a 45 degree'r .

Understandable......what I was trying to point out mostly was how secure you back foot DOESN'T need to be.

I see what you guys are saying. It makes sense. I don't need my rear foot secured. That pic is great and it helped.

I may ditch the rear but I'm diggin the front even more now!

For better or for worse this is where I stand.

I'll just rip them off if I don't like them. Although I'm pretty sure the front one is staying and the back seems good for me too.

I'll just be super careful and see how they feel for a while.

BlowStuffUp

Twinkle Toes
madmat i was on your side for a while. jerry can second that i had two ankle breakers in the back of my ski for a while. but after talking to(more like taking shift from) many of the really good guys in the sport i decided to change it up. if your ultimate goal is to just get better, why would you go against what everyone who is better than you is telling you. after moving my straps, ive found that i have a lot more control of the ski, and its easier to throw some style points on your tricks (not that i have any style).

it seems to me that winter truely is driving you mad.

You at least tried it and people probably told you not to.

The back one comes out in 2 secoonds. They both do.

The front one seems fine for sure.
