Man I dont understand people! Last weekend I saw I 93 civic hatchback pulling a boat at the ramp! I wish I could have seen him pull that boat out of the water up the ramp..

True story:

My wife is shopping around for a truck to tow the 35 foot gooseneck horse trailer. She's got the specs all figured out and heads to the local Ford dealer.

Dumbass salesman: Hello, how can I gouge you today?

Suzi: I'm looking for an F250 crew cab, 4x4, offroad package, Lariat trim, captains chairs, diesel engine - what have you got?

Dumbass salesman: Now, what does a nice lady like you want a big truck like that for? How about this Mustang convertible?

Suzi: Well, I dunno - where does the gooseneck go? Will it tow 13,000 lbs?

Not kidding - what a dick! She walked out and we got a truck elsewhere....

My buddy had a glastron ski boat with a 350 in it. He pulled it with his ford EXP. We had to sit on the hood to get it up the ramp. I wish I had a picture of hat it looked very dangerous...LOL

a few weeks ago at the ramp i saw a ford ranger 2wd 4cyl pulling a 38ft contender center console with tripple 275 mercs:bigeyes:i said to the guy "hey i think you could have used a smaller truck!"he just laughed as he backed down the ramp.i thought the boat would drag the truck right into the water but he was obviously experienced.

Ha! And I've questioned whether or not my F250 with a V10 could pull a 28ft. boat!

Towing is not a problem , its stopping what you tow when there are children in the car ahead of you ! when you have kids of your own is when this really makes sense ! !

seriously?

I have this notion stuck in my head from when I was younger. I had this brake problem on one of my older trucks. It didn't want to stop for $hit and it scared me good this one time (even with no trailer). Despite fixing the problem and subsequently buying a new truck recently, I have a hard time forgetting and feel for some reason that I won't be able to stop when I'm hauling something big.
