And yet another example. Please know the facts before jumping on board with comments like that. There is no cloning going on here.

Wait wait. Jumping on me? For what. I'd like to see his hood. I'm in the market for a new hood.

CG's hood is no clone of anything, these accusations are getting real old and borish quick. Ive seen the hood live in color, a lot of time and effort went into the design, Im soo pumped to get mine, I know its worth the wait.

BTW Im feelin the look of the Waterdawg hood, nice work!

I think the confusion is there because he did make a clone of another hood, just to learn the process. I would have to ask the CG man himself to know for sure. Very cool guy.

I'm glad you figured out a way to attach your nose piece without visible screws but I think Jeff is still one up on the competition since his uses the stock bracket and stock screws and no extra drilling or screws is needed .Seems to be shipping stuff out on time too

Nothing like paying $150 for a lowered nose and then screw 2 screws right through the front of it to hold it on .you figure these guys would figure out a way to use the stock bracket like Jeff did.

Nice hood Idok

yeah... nothing like it in the world. i know how much people hate having to do anything concerning any more than a simple bolt-on mod:rolleyes:

I have no problem with 2 screws in my nosepiece, because I know it's not coming off and 2 shiny stainless screws don't bother me one bit.

Blowsion didn't use screws in their nosepieces either, but for serious freestyle/freeride use they recommend using screws for security.

i just took a pic w/ my phone.......

Charlie, it's important to note that you reshaped your nosepiece to allow access to the handlepole bolts for tightening. I think that gives you a lot more room to get in there with a drill and screwdriver than most people have without modifying their nosepieces.

it really doesnt matter. you can get in there regardless since youre using the space thats in front of the handlepole, not the sides.

its worth noting that i used a long drillbit (about 1'6") and a long extension for the phillips tip. i couldnt have done it with a regular 4" drillbit and std screwdriver.
