Hey Roo The interior shot is down n dirty, I normally don't flood a clear coat on the interior as it adds lbs and I'm all about weight to strength ratios. Josh I'm trying to make it over to the spot if it looks good for Friday, I have your rideing gear in the van. How did you get your ski @ 230lbs dry? I just weighed mine after putting in a 3lbs Li. battery and a 1.7lbs carbon water box and I'm at the same weight , thats without a mag pump.

Big Kahuna Yes I did build some hulls from 06-07' till ? for Xmetal and we are still doing some projects together. As far as warranty goes, yes but on a case by case deal, if a 250lbs ripper takes a fly weight sub 50lbs ski in the surf it will fail over a short time. Idok 69lbs surf laminate hull no problem as far as water loads go,, the bottom is hard to design for though. Tem

Stock 144? If so then same here. SXR light hull with Yami motor and Yami 144 and it is unreal! I don't know if my waterdawg envy is SXR bottom or SJ bottom or morf of the 2 but man it is sick!

What is the bottom of your hull. SXR? SJ? Custom?

Mine has foam so I'm sure that adds some weight, also mine was 230 with the stock 144 pump. The mag pump weights a lot more than a stock pump.

Friday is looking good for a surf ride, going to call Lucas & Chris & see if we can get something cooking. I know Tanner is down for Friday.

Idok the battery is a lithium iron posphate, very safe, 10 amp hour, high dischare rate, 3x3x6", 3lbs very high tec. I only have one ride on it and am going to test for a bit, they are good for 2000 cycles if handled right. Don't use lipo as it will turn into a ball of flames unless know how to charge and manage them but they are the lightest.

Madmat the plug started life as a SJ and has been tweeked big time, wider, shorter, more rocker ,are just a few mods. It's not a Superjet, it's a Superfreak ha ha . I'm running a scat 14-19 big hub in a 144 pump, 85mm exit, smaller cone.
Idok I ordered a bunch of cells it take 4 in series to make one batt. but theres more to it as they need a BMS, I'll give you the skinny on Fri. if your going.

That is really a sharp looking ski, Tem! Don't forget to put hood straps on it if you let other people try it in the surf.
I'm gonna start saving money, the pic of the hull floating in the blue lagoon got me all lusty.

STFU, no way. (it's gotta be the hull)

Congrats Tem.

He is a mad man, he rode my ski twice (once flatwater and once in the surf) and his ski six times(first time in the surf on a crazy light hull). He was back flopping on my lake and in the surf and that helped push me to land a couple for the first time in the surf time friday. (I was worried he would land a backflip before me in the surf.) A few minutes later, he backflips....WTF! I know that this is a sick hull with an Xscream motor, but it still takes talent/experience/balls.

Congats Tem(Berky) for possibly the fastest time to backflip ever....

Thanks Chris
I had you ,Dan ,Tanner,Josh and lucas ripping it up out there , so with a little coaching from Josh It became back flip city, next up barrel town. Plus I got to watch Josh and Lucas BF on just about any thing that looked like a wave . Tanner was a roll machine. That was soooo much fun, I'm hooked.

Tem has built my hulls for the last 2 years.
They don't look futuristic, but they perform like no other
Tems composite experience is second to no one that I've dealt with in this sport.
The first hull he built for us 2 years ago, was the prototype, and I think he nailed it the second time around, that would be the thunder pumpkin.
thats the ski that ragdolled pancake at Daytona the same day it nearly killed Havell
On those 2 hulls, me, John Havell, parrdaddy And stoyer, (i'm sure i'm leaving some out) all did our first flatwaterbackies.
Also the best hoods I've ever used are built by Tem. (I know he was ready to kill me by the time he got the look just how I wanted it :)
I've heard lots of claims of super light hoods, but Tem built me the 7 lb prototype thats to this day is still on the pumpkin, and no failures!!!
We've collaborated again with a totally updated stronger, and lighter version that we'll unveil for Havasu.
I could go on and on
Needless to say Tem has been a huge addition to our efforts

I would say your seeing a star being born :)
