Hey Tem, did you build all of the XScream hulls??
Thanks for the props guys. The carbon is very expensive, it's about $68. a yard and it takes 21 yards to do a 55lbs hull, full on bomb proof surf ski takes more. The epoxy prices always goes up even if crude is half the $. aaarrrrr
Hey Roo The interior shot is down n dirty, I normally don't flood a clear coat on the interior as it adds lbs and I'm all about weight to strength ratios. Josh I'm trying to make it over to the spot if it looks good for Friday, I have your rideing gear in the van. How did you get your ski @ 230lbs dry? I just weighed mine after putting in a 3lbs Li. battery and a 1.7lbs carbon water box and I'm at the same weight , thats without a mag pump.
Hey Madmat Man I wish I could make it but Josh may. I'm just running a cleanned up stock pump for now, Lucas might loan me his mag pump for a bit ! Tem
Idok the battery is a lithium iron posphate, very safe, 10 amp hour, high dischare rate, 3x3x6", 3lbs very high tec. I only have one ride on it and am going to test for a bit, they are good for 2000 cycles if handled right. Don't use lipo as it will turn into a ball of flames unless know how to charge and manage them but they are the lightest.
Bro way to go on your first Backflip!!!!! Thats the fastest learning curve in history! 8 rides TOTAL on a ski & pulling Backflips in the surf!!!
Congrats!!!!!
STFU, no way. (it's gotta be the hull)
Congrats Tem.
