I don't know, whenever. It was actually the first prepreg hull that he laid up, he just needs to really focus on it for a few more days to finish it :skull2:

yea he had mentioned he was working on that crazy thing for you, hopefully he can finish it up soon. and 1.65lbs for a ride plate  nice, he said my hull should weigh in around 85lbs (non prepreg) top and bottom glass with reinforced carbon and carbon hood and nose :woot:
as far as the ride plates go i think he said he had 9 in stock and they're only $99:cheer:

??? Who is waiting on what?

there were quite a few people complaining that they havent received the parts they ordered. im just wondering if he took care of those people before his recent 'on time' shippings.

mile9 hasnt received his so im guessing theres more.

The numbers do not lie. When you hold the two plates it feels like the composite plate is 5 pounds lighter but in achuality I guess that is not the case. Still......every little bit helps.

I agree, 2# here and there add up, I have a thin azz old carbon fiber race plate I may cut down and use till it breaks. I am wondering how deep the freestyle plate should be. I know that short and "d" cut is working well, but is shallow better than deep or ??????

OK the more accurate weights I got on the plates:

Waterdawg composite plate: 1.65 lbs

Aluminum Protec plate: 4.35 lbs probably over 5 if it was not cut flush with the hull and had the d-shape hacked out of the back.

So pretty much what I came up with on my Wammer plate/R&D race plate comparison. The Wammer was 2.5 at full length and I chopped quite a bit off, I would imagine it's at 2 lbs now give or take.

I don't know what Jeff's plate is made out of, but I'd be surprised if it disintigrated like some of his competitor's plates apparently do

A wamiltons plate i had was so thin, it was a piece of crap. It had abs on it rather then being completely composite.

chopped glass = garbage.
hooray for garbage of uniform thickness.

I did not say it was chopped glass..........I was just adding it was done in a compression mold. Do you work at WCF Charlie? If so you need to check you business practices on dogging other people stuff. Where are the threads of you bashing XFT or Blowsion? I am just curious if you are this salty against everyone not affiliated w/ WCF or if it is just WD. I am not starting a flmae throwing thread but I just think it is very curious how you approach each pro WD thread. If you use Steve's stuff that is cool. I use Jeff's stuff so why can't you just back off and let it be. That is the way it is and I don't see your antics changing anything, sure as heck not changing my views. If anything it dicourages me from doing anything with WCF.

Why post pics of just a ride plate? Not many people have seen the plates by WD (he does not even have them on his site)..........to date there is maybe 10 made. Same with the foothold, same with the hoods. It is a different/new part people may or may not be aware of, so I post pics and a review on the forum. That is why it is here
