96' build, Foot holds/turf time !

Just wondering if anyone else has glassed on their nose peice.. I cut the ears off the nose piecec so the pole bolt/bracket can be removed and will add another screw (2 each side) to hold the ears on.. I filled the stupid bumps on each side of the tray tops (gunwall?) the gas fill hole and been doing some safty reinforcing for Matt E !! haha
After foot holds and turf it's paint time !

If you can really beef the nosepiece from teh underside, glassing it on would be cool. If it cracks just repair it. Much more difficult than replacing the nosepiece but not impossible.

Yes even if you "saws all" it (I used a grinder) and even with the WDK you can remove the bolt.. Last year I fought the WDK bracket, pole, spring for hours before I ground the bolt head down on 1 side and installed it piece by piece rather than installing as a unit..

keep in mind that those nose pieces break!!

well today i went a little nuts.. I primed my ski, changed my mind from black to yellow with a Kenny Roberts stripe ! Painted the inside black and clear coated it.. now only clear coat the ouside and its time to get it together ! I think I did pretty good for my 1st ever paint job ! 6 hours total painting !

i believe it was king nothing broke it on a stab that he bailed on at freestylefest

I'm not just standing here looking at it !! Clear is on.. The rest of the tape is coming off when it drys more.. Darn you can't see the dark grey metalic paint I used for the strips..
