Ah oh ! Gots a A engine ! Ported cases, reeds, stuffers, 44 black jacks, riva intake, big bore ported, ported sizzler pipe..

Does anyone know if 65 U pistons are from a 1200 ?
Is 100 on the top 25 over or 1 over ? or 84.25 or 85mm ?

hey nikad58 that thing reminds me of my second dirt bike growing up. Back in 87 I was 13 and my dad let me move up from a 80 to a 100 (mine was exactly like this, an '83 model). That paint scheme brings back major memories. Nice work. Sick A$$ retro.

I got the motor done last night.. New seals, gaskets, qwick hone and found out I had no o rings.. I stuck the engine in today and stuck a stock head on it if for nothing else just to hear it run.. It sounds pretty darn good !

Has anyone tried a adjusting screw on the top of the Coffmans head pipe like a factory's ? I have the diddy screws and taps..
I think I will give it a try !

My list is getting real short now..

1. foot holds/straps
2. turf
3. battery
4. bow/stern eyes
5. start/stop switch a roo
6. install pro-tec head
7. I need a scupper (tube installed)

Then HIT the water !

Oh yeah.. My only bike with this type of Yamaha strobe is/was my 1st brand new bike for dessert racing.. A 1976 YZ 250.. Now the stand is worth more !
