So I should have been taking pics of this thing ever since I started on it in Phill's garage like in late winter and early spring but I didn't unfortunately. I have never done any kind of work like this before and basically did most of it myself w/ a lot of instruction and some help from Phill. There is not really much done for performance on this ski just yet, that will probably be done this winter or next Spring. I have had it out on the water a few times now and it handles great, but w/ that stock 650 engine it just isn't as much fun to ride as ski's w/ a 701 or more. At minimum I would like to get a 701 w/ a b-pipe and probably more to go along w/ that. Well here are some pics and a video to start off with... I did a few things different but if u have ?'s just ask. thanks

That must be the best use of stock air intakes on a square hood I have ever seen.

Nice

Keep the pictures coming and spread the square love.:woot:

Yea I just spent all winter refoaming my square. Now I am jealous I didn't take some time and do what you did it crossed my mind but then reality kicked in and I realized that there is no way I could do that major props to you. Like someone else said probably the best looking square on here. I like the nose cone did you make that yourself or just integrate an aftermarket one to your hull also did you do the slutty hood mod or did you venture to do it your own way?

I like. Very clean...

Which way did you go about installing the round pole on the square... Hook it up with some photos and info... I'm doing the same right now. I already know which route I'm taking, but I like to see other people's write ups

if he's using an x-metal pole with the 2 bolt setup it should be easy

well I am actually using a stock round nose pole shortened roughly 4 inches with an x-metal handlepole bracket and x-metal handle pole bolts. I had to do some slight modifications to the handlepole bracket which sucked cuz the Stainless looked so damn sexy and all but atleast I got it to work after i gouged into it a little... and there is no issue at all with putting the pole on and taking it off.

well it definitely was not an easy task, keep in mind though I've never really done anything like this so I was just improvising as I went and after I leveled it off the best I could and got the look that I liked i put down a few layers of glass over the top to make sure it was stong enough but in the end it was definitely worth it. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to do the same thing. My buddy Phill grinded off the lip of his which is what I was going to originally do but I decided I wanted a more exotic look. I absolutely love how they feel when I'm getting up on my ski from the water. glad u like it.

i love the air intakes, brilliant. the back really updates the look of the square. very nice build

I can't take credit for that because I got the idea from someone else but I did do the work and it really wasn't that hard to do once I got going on it. It just took a lot of time... I'm not sure if Phill or our buddy Brian was the one who thought of doing that but either way I like the look.
