would an 800 sxr engine fit in a superjet hull? would the motor mounts align? how about mounting the ebox. Has this been done before?

It would take a conversion plate, couplers, etc
Probably better selling the 800
and putting it towards a SJ

Don't let everyone discourage you if that's what you want. There are people on here that will try to help you out if you take some good pictures and let us know where all the hang ups are.

However, if you're doing this because you think it'll be easier than selling the sxr motor and getting an sj motor....you may be in for a shock once you start digging into the details.

sure why not? 951 into kawis, 701 into kawis, 750 into 550, 951 into 750, 66e into sj, you can be the first! I say go for it! probably need some spacers welded to the bedplate extra long bolts, may even be able to slip the wet pipe in there.

I agree but I would never do that. No way no how.

Yamaha based motors are superior. Kawi hulls are superior but heavy. Lightweight kawi hulls with Yami power train..........priceless :pokey:
