Hey DJ, talk to Darin. He has a nice 61x cylinder (ported by TRL) that he is selling. That will get the job done. I rode his boat last year and that cylinder had pleanty of hit to it.

that 800 was a hell of a motor. could be a winter project

maybe just get a 650 rig in there dirt cheap to get her going this summer vogies got most of the parts i think. it will be dirt cheap, easy to come by parts and
then he can develop his riding skills and over teh winter come up with some wicked set up and have the time to shop for what he wants and trial and error fabrication etc

Yeah, it's just that easy, why hasn't everyone done it? All you have to do is find an old, dirty, easy to find sled motor and just slap it in there. After that, just bolt everything to it and away you go, except jet ski motors don't use antifreeze, water pumps, recoil starters and lots of other different parts. Oh, and they aren't belt driven with clutches. Woops, all the sudden not so easy

I've already done all the homework, if your interested, contact me, i'll make it lots easier than just assuming

I just said sled engines are easy to find... I didn't say anything about putting one into a hull.

Does Jeff have an easy way to drop an "Eric Malone" engine in his Kustom Hull?!? :noevil:

CG, That wasn't a snowmobile engine you put in was it?

If so, what did you do with the pull start, how did you get a coupler on the crank? etc.
