I heard from a reliable source( no not mommar)
that the new superjet is going to be the same top deck
but have a new lower deck on it
i think they have built tubbies into it
the engine is the same and not a 760
yamaha is not happy running the 760 displacement on the old exhaust they give us now
other than that its bng
Awesome lets hope we get a ski that handles has the old reliable two stroke in it
You can keep your valve rattler

This guy may be wrong but he is japanese and has close links with the japanese yamaha guys
well the developement side of thing anyway
he said they have tried all sorts of things ie 4 stroke (valve rattlers)

I believe this guy to be close to the truth and an acurate source of infomation

Lets hope the new lower deck handles well and isnt that much heavier

I have been told that Rius is racing a prototype hull over in europe in the mod class. The bottom is supposed to be a couple of inches longer and a couple inches wider. And It is running a gp800 motor. Not sure how reliable the info is.

I can't imagine why they would continue with a carbed 701. In my opinion Yamaha is the shizzle. If they made cars I would drive them.

Now why not continue to strive to be the best. It is time for built in tubbies, fuel injection, and a 800 or at least a 760.

ford SHO taurus, yamaha motor based on the fzr genisis motors, ford had to find a good gearbox for them the first autos couldnt handle the motor.

Doesnt matter you can still get everything you need to build one.

Yeah but because Yamaha is no longer offering the 800 in a ski, it will be difficult for the new Superjet to come with one. It probably has really crappy emissions... I wish they'd fuel inject it like the 1300.

How does that make it difficult? You can still order all the 800 parts from Yamaha and I'm pretty sure there is a part number for a short block.

That was funny!

I heard the new SJ was going to come with a trolling motor but will have three batteries for extra long riding time. But that was not really from a reliable source, I more or less just made that up.
