After thinking about it. I've decided to sell my ski. I've decided to wait until after the lake lanier event. I would like to enjoy it for part of the summer and that event. I just dont have the time to mess with these hobbies that cost me so much money and time.

I really need to be focusing on school and getting my life together in the near future. Not thinking about how to BR in the middle of class. I'm just done with this stuff.

Sorry to say but this is my 2 month notice. I quit

Lets all throw in the towel and be serious about life. When we are 80 we will all be glad we worked our whole life away. :bs2:

The whole key to being happy in life is enjoying it and getting others around you to do the same. You will not be a happy camper if you quit...:banghead:

Waste. 5 years ago I sold my sj with wammy hood and loads of bits for dirt cheap. Needed money due to house and kids. Spent the last few years trying to buy a new ski. :banghead:
Keep it bro but if you need to study take a bit of time off. If you sell it you'll buy another but it'll cost you more.

If that's the right decision, go for it. However, you need to have at least one thing in your life that is fun and having one that's physical and gets you outside is a good thing.

yeah. like a frisbee.
:haha:

hey, whats with the "2 month notice"? is that so we have enough time to find someone to replace you? or do you figure 2 months is enough time for someone to set up a "lets give jesse some money fund"?

:haha: :haha:

seriously, do like wax said. pull back for a while and then youll come back into it full force.... or sell it to scottB

Keep the ski winterize it and put it in storage. Some time in the future you will want it back and you will not be able to buy a ski for what you sold it for. It could be two months or 10 years but you will regret selling it.

I hear you man, the thought has crossed my mind from time to time. I have a problem of not leaving anything alone. I always need more power, lighter weight ect.......if I could unload my jeep and my ski I would be sitting pretty...........but I don't want to right now. :439: As everyone said though it will cost you allot more in the long run to get back into the sport.

 :spank:
Take a few deep beaths brotha! Keep the ski, just make sure everything gets done in your life that needs to be done before you give your time to your hobbies. No need to sell it!

I've been there. I wanted to bust my ski up into tiny little pieces. I had put lots of money and time into getting a ski to run right that when sold to me was supposed to be in great running shape. All that without the ski running more that a half hour at a time (my first ski too). I'm glad I stuck through it though, now my ski runs for at least an hour before the next problem.

here is my break down thread

at least no one has swooped in trying to buy parts off of your ski while your spirit is down. Stick with it, don't sell.

How much for the B-pipe?
Sorry I had to. :Banane01:

There are cheaper hobbies out there and I'd be lying if I have not thought about selling all my jetski crap and doing something else. The prices on this stuff keeps climbing, so it would cost you much more to get back into it later. Put it away, sell some blood, sperm, whatever, save up some money for awhile.
Summer is a hard time to forget about riding. :banghead:
