2 Month Notice

give me fuel give me fire
I know the feeling i have WAY more hobbies than i do time and i have thought about selling alot of stuff. but then i think about how much it took to get me where i am i change my mind. if you sell now it will be very hard to get back into it. keep it at least through the summer. and if you still want to sell it, i guess its up to you.

I did think this was a april fools joke.

hey, whats with the "2 month notice"? is that so we have enough time to find someone to replace you? or do you figure 2 months is enough time for someone to set up a "lets give jesse some money fund"?

:haha: :haha:

seriously, do like wax said. pull back for a while and then youll come back into it full force.... or sell it to scottB

Dont insult me. I've been hooked up, got some deals but I dont take charity.

if you quit, collectively, we will slap you around. The last thing you wanna do is quit. I quit after i bought my sxi pro, and now i've got a ****load of money in this new SJ, including a new motor. I'm just a poor college kid too, but keep your priorities straight. If you wanna jetski, jetski, if you wanna go to college, go to college, jetski on the side.

you could always go back to riding your XP! we'll probably make fun of you less if you do that vs. if you quit...well, umm.....nevermind:sneaky:

agreed. im doing full time college classess too. no time for a job (thanks to support of my parents) but it just means i can't go looking for any Lamey cylinders. BUT, i can ride what i got and if upgrading my motor means i have to wait, ill wait. at least i know it'll be there and its something to look forward to.

i thought about throwing in the towel. even pushed my SJ to the back of the garage with a cover because i got sick of spending ALL my money on it. but i figure, thats what i like to do that makes me happy. so i do it.

give me a 440, ill still have fun :Banane01:

You can't quit. If you think you can't afford to keep going, there's no way you can afford the 12 step program to quit. I'm sure that the addiction is stronger than your willpower to quit. I've been there before. I had a full time job and full time classes and I still had some stupid toys and a mortgage and all that fun stuff. Get a cheap little car and deliver Steak Out or Dominos or something.

Quitting is a very bad idea. Very bad. Putting the ski up for a while to focus on education is admirable, but you'll pull it out every now and then to ride: you'll need to. Getting an education is tough, and you need an outlet.

If you want to quit something, I have some suggestions:

1) Quit trying to keep up with everyone else's mods - it's a road to debt and unecessary for having fun.

2) Quit worrying about advancing your skills - you're already ruining it for yourself. Just go out and have fun: I have 100x more fun riding my ski slowly in a straight line than I do watching TV.

I'm not bashing you, I'm just saying chill a little, and remember what it's all about: having the maximum fun you can, with what you've got - it's NOT always striving for the next thing. That's no fun at all.

You won't quit - you can't make yourself do it. Just make the ski one of the parts of your life, not your whole life: no one thing should be your whole life.

Eh.....I may just keep it

...Brit...I CANT stop trying to progress. Once i do the same trick and get it down it becomes couch boring to do it over and over...

We'll just see how this plays out

So what keeps you from learning those tricks better, bigger, the other way, etc. Trust me, you will never be able to do every trick out there, I've been trying for 10 years........Malone doesn't sleep at night. This is all his fault really :hail:

Nothing is keeping me. I'm just saying I cant stop progressing...riding my ski is boring unless i learn new tricks. Brit says ridding his slow in straight lines is funner then TV. I'm actually progressing well

The way I look at it is this... my worst/boringest day on my superjet is better than my best/most productive day at work (you could probably replace work with school in this case). That said... there's nothing better then just getting out on the water with some friends to get your mind off life's more demanding things. Without riding my superjet I'd be wound tighter than a schizophrenic postal worker. You need some outlet to clear your mind... unless you are into yoga or somethin...

the problem is you are riding the ski for the tricks......................:banghead:

Let the tricks ride you.............. you just go along with what they want to do...............

In other words, just go out have fun, act silly........... there are days when I will put the SJ in the water, ride across the lake. Stop, and just float there............ then get back on.......... put ski back on trailer........

Dont make sking your life............... good example..............if you dont feel like competing in freestyle even when Magoo is breathing down your neck trying to talk you into it........... do what you want to do...........

That really happened........... I bailed on Sunday.......... Why? Because I could!!!!!!!!!

Hell yea, part that bitch out we will give you 10 cents on the dollar for those performance parts. It will be a bloody carcass sitting there on the garage floor when we are done with it.

With that said.....quit your :crying: and get out there and ride and have a good time. :damnit:
