had a spare stock turnplate, so i did some experimenting. exposing the pin was fairly easy. i used a cutting disk until i saw the top of the SS pin, then used an old socket and small sledge hammer to drive it out. the pin was too long, so i cut/grinded it down to 1", drilled/tapped for 5/16-18...

well, it didn't take long...installed my Riva pipe, stock f/a with 2 screens removed, fuel selector delete, complete pump assy from my sn with the 9/15 hooker, 84.5mm bored nozzle and quick-steer mod. running stock siphon and one cooling line to the pipe. will convert to dual cooling later.odi...

i think the shorter straps goes on the right side for tank and box. and the tank strap connects to the battery tray. (clicking the image twice should zoom bigger)

Rebuilding my stock 38’s off my 96RN. had to replace the 1.5 N&S because of intermittent leakage. Installed a new set and they work fine, between 44-46psi. seems high, is that right? the spring looks gold in color, i think?
