    just read this on e-bay ad. "Jet ski is also equipped with an engine coolant which extracts the hot water out while the coolant keeps it running cool preventing the operator from over heating the motor". is there such a thing? or maybe he's talking about something else and is explaining it wrong?

    thanks, all that's left is to install my black chin pad cover. i live less than an hour from Morgan City where Mud Bug Nationals are held each year, so you kinda get curious about top speed no matter what you ride :smile:

    explanation of water routing...riva pipe?

    Bought this ski modded and was hoping someone could explain the water routing.The pump is tapped and plumbed into the manifold and the stock head has two hoses exiting instead of one. just curious the reasoning behind this set up…low end? Mid? Top? better cooling?

    damaged another prop...

    i was hoping to save the driveshaft. i had loosened the prop maybe a 1/4 turn and then it locked-up tight, i guess that was enough distance to damage the threads. then again, using a 24 pipe wrench probably didn't help any.

    well, i destroyed another prop, this one was a 13/17 i borrowed from my stock 650 to try out on my modded ski...best i can figure, is i shouldn't have used lock-tite...also the threads on the driveshaft are toasted...luckily i have a spare shaft, but not a prop. talked to Dave and just received...

    very good possibility, i found the threads on the prop broken. before i removed it, there was enough play that it would hit the sides of the wear ring and i noticed cavitation burns on the cone, so the problem has been there a while. the 15 minutes was just long enough to make sure the motor...
