dont do it, dude! get it welded..... using the proper technique, which is having the cylinder sandwiched between the gridul head and cases and torqued properly. i would think drilling either ends of the crack wouldnt be a bad idea. then weld it, but just a second or 2 at a time, then mist it...

i wouldnt even use WSM stuff on a stock engine. it is trash. worse than SBT. not by much though.

i doubt that you have a problem with mismatched yami cases. mismatched simply means a set that did NOT come from the factory as a 'set'. it could just be the seals causing the resisance. if youre unsure, split the cases, remove the seals then re-sandwich the crank and torque the case bolts to...

i wouldnt use WSM seals on a crank either. just remember..... you get what you pay for.

ah, playtime powersports. i remember them. they were mainly a polaris dealer that went out of bidness when polaris stopped making couches. anyway, i wouldnt go with WSM pistons. they are JUNK. its got WSM rods too. ....and dont get me going on the F.A.G. bearings :haha:

you certainly wont save a 'bunch' with an SBT crank. especially in the long run. yami cranks dont need to be welded unless theyre pushing SERIOUS SERIOUS hp... ... or if theyre made by SBT:biggrin:

carbon and carbon kevlar are for the bling AFTER you reinforce with biaxial mat. the difference in weight is minimal. stop eating cheeseburgers and large fries if youre thinking that a little extra resin is killing your game.

i believe the plastic bellows housing is seapoo. the valve, itself, is not.
